This unusual house, nicknamed the ‘Mushroom House’, is in western New York State and built in the 1970′s. It has 4 80-ton pods sitting on reinforced concrete pylons. One pod contains the living and dining area, one is the kitchen, and two are sleeping areas. An additional un-roofed pod provides an open deck area.
It could be a great alternative to a ‘Hobbit House’.
