When we think ‘leaky home’ we think water and rotting timber but a Colorado homeowner found a leak with a difference. A sticky amber coloured liquid coming from her walls proved to be honey.
The previous home owner had sealed up a beehive in a wall leaving a dying bee colony. All was fine until the high summer temperatures caused the honey to start leaking out of the walls. Investigators estimated the hive could have originally been home to 50,000-60,000 bees. One very sticky clean-up job.
It’s really a wonderful post about leaky home that it was a sticky amber colored liquid that was leaking not water leak. it’s a good information to prove that leaks are not only through water but also bees are also responsible for different type of leakage.
